Boasting an impressive legacy of 14 years in the filmmaking and photography realm, Kyle Newsom stands as a beacon among aviation filmmakers globally. A licensed private pilot holding both land and seaplane ratings, coupled with the distinction of a Part 107 UAV license, Kyle Newsom brings a unique blend of practical aviation expertise and creative finesse. His journey started at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, where he earned an associate degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology – an educational foundation that breathes authenticity into every frame he captures.
With over 450 hours of flight under his wings and 11 years immersed in aviation management, safety management, air cargo operations, and airport operations, Kyle Newsom epitomizes a genuine devotion to aviation. Our creations echo this passion, delivered with an unwavering commitment to excellence and a steadfast focus on client satisfaction. Since our debut in aviation filmmaking in 2018, we've cultivated an unparalleled expertise in the field, curating aviation films and services that embody the essence of flight.

In 2013, Kyle Newsom was recognized as an Oris Swiss Watches Team Coordinator at the 2013 Reno Air Races. He worked directly with the Oris Swiss Air Racing team during this event. In his role, his responsibilities included documenting the event through filmmaking and photography. He also provided live updates on the team's progress throughout the event.

In 2015, Kyle Newsom expanded his creative horizons by founding Newsom Productions. Initially focusing on a wide array of projects including narrative films, commercial advertisements, wedding videos, and documentaries, this venture marked a significant chapter in his career. Through Newsom Productions, he honed his storytelling skills and demonstrated his versatility in different genres of filmmaking. This period of working on diverse projects allowed Kyle to develop a strong foundation in filmmaking techniques, narrative structure, and visual storytelling. These skills, along with his passion for aviation, laid the groundwork for his later transition into aviation filmmaking.
In 2018, driven by his genuine devotion to aviation, Kyle Newsom made a deliberate shift towards aviation filmmaking. This move enabled him to seamlessly merge his love for flight with his expertise in filmmaking, resulting in the creation of captivating aviation films that bring aviator stories to life. This evolution from Newsom Productions to Kyle Newsom Aviation signifies his commitment to his craft and his ability to adapt his creative pursuits to align with his passions.
